I just read this great blog post at Gamasutra by Tom Battey, and I wanted to share it here as it addresses the censorship complaints.

The difference between art and trash is intention. Art is intentional - it is reactionary, deliberate, purposeful. Trash thoughtlessly duplicates an existing paradigm hoping to replicate its success. To create art requires knowledge, and gaining knowledge requires criticism. Criticism is not censorship.
