physical copy idea

Postby Jarno » Tue Mar 24, 2015 2:26 am

So one of the backer rewards will be the cool retro looking physical copy of the game with an actual manual :D

So i had this idea thinking back the those old retro games, it would be even more retro if you cant just install it on windows 7 or high, but that you actually have to run it in compatibility mode, and that it crashes on a 64 bit computer

That be SO retro !

And you have to open the manual and enter word seven of paragraph three on page nine.
A new word every time you boot it.

As funny as that sounds, I'm gonna assume you're both joking around. x.x that would be bad.

Hey, that's how PC games WERE. If we're gonna be retro, let's go all the way!

They came on like twelve floppies, too.
I guess most systems these days don't have floppy drives, so... "Insert Flash Drive 3 to continue installation"?

Seriously? That was such a common protection scheme in the DOS days.

TIE Fighter made you check in at every boot.
