Kickstarter Crap

Postby Jarno » Fri Aug 08, 2014 6:18 am

sometimes i browse trough the games on kickstater to see if there is anything interesting i might want to back, this is also how i found timespinner (not by might nr.9)

timespinner and many other are good kickstarters, with loads of different back tiers, different rewards, loads of content to show to get the user exited, promotion / marketing

but then it always makes me laugh to see some of the other kickstaters where some gut just starts a kickstarter to hopefully get some money
for example:
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/11 ... =discovery
oh look i am going to make a first person shooter, and i will make it alone, and i only need 100 euro, yeah right...
and
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/35 ... =discovery
that open world rpg looks good but thats it there is realy nothing to go by, and you cna just back 1 euro and get the full game? yeah right at that rate you defently loose money and you are not going to make a full 3d rpg game for 1,200 euro anyway...

That first one might be a troll KS... having some difficulty with Poe's Law on it. Second one looks fairly naive, but honest enough. Inexperience and diving right in to it.

*faceplam*
another one: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/12 ... f=category
due to the limits on his 25$ & 50$ tier he is not even going to be able to each 2000, he can reach 750$ at most

WARNING: 18+ Some kickstarters are sort of adult oriented, but they're just as crappy.

iDubbbz has some pretty good ones.
