Yeah, I make all my steps to be possible with feet, which means they're waaay too easy for people who play with a keyboard/controller. No offense taken :)

Anyway, let's keep the rest of this thread to BUTTON CONFIGURATIONS and any further DDR discussion should be moved to the appropriate thread. DERAILING SO BAD I'M THE WORST MOD.

i will personally play with a snes to usb adapter to play with a SNES/SFC controller because i want to speed run this game and having a snes controller is just the best for that. if anyone wants such adapter i HIGHLY recommend getting it from retrousb. never get the mayflash they are the worst adapter EVER.

I have a Retrode which works pretty well with my old SNES controllers, but I recently picked up a wired 360 controller. I generally like it better, except for the lackluster d-pad.

I always thought it was a strength of the DS megaman games how they allowed you to customise your controls even though I rarely did. Timespinner having this will definately be a plus since I am getting it on 3ds and not many 3ds games have this option as Nayrman mentioned.
