Perhaps lightning orb attacks overload enemies, causing them to explode after 3 seconds, and doing damage to other enemies when they explode. The main reason I mention this, is the enemies thus far seem to be robotic, and so it makes sense. It's possible by the end of the game, your fighting non robotic enemies, who are only stunned by the maneuver.

The last orbs game scene that I remember was from Ninja Gaiden 2 on Xbox 360 from the nimpos!! Which were found from scrolls, but then activated on first use, or some feat!! I'm wondering if some of that can be made into the Timespinner orbs around Lunais!! Like special ones in the game to be found that will ware out, but will provide protection, or enough attacking power to do what hand to hand attacks can't to an enemy!! There was like this one part of Ninja Gaiden 2 where I could only pass through some enemies from the nimpos. Two huge machined beasts!! The strategy guide book hinted at it a bit, or didn't. :D

I just had an idea. Remember how cool it was in Final Fantasy Tactics (FFT) when there were in game cinematic sequences, of npcs holding or using an orb? How they tossed it, or how they floated up and stuff happened?

I would love to see something like this happen at times in the game, when trying to acquire the different orbs. Perhaps the Umbra orb when you start the game, could meld out of the shadows and float over to Lunais, and do some sort of effects. How one gets each orb, should definitely have some cinematic flair to it.

Yeah, I really liked how the Zodiac Stones felt in the FFT cinematics- I definitely want to try to get some cool effects/scenes with them. If anything, some parts where the orb is physically held and physically thrown could help lend to the heaviness/solidity of the orbs.

A good way to demonstrate this would be a scene where an orb is thrown at something, like a door, and is accompanied by a satisfying thud/thwack. Perhaps, a self entitled NPC, like the son or daughter of a general, abusing the 'toys' they get.

Actually, it'd be kind of funny if this happened to Lunais herself when she realizes she has the power to use orbs and is using one for the first time. XD

Yes! And make them look like Easter Eggs! And for some reason a bunny gives them to you. Lunais is like "Ahh, why is a bunny giving me eggs?" and the bunny say's "Don' worry 'bout it, toots. Jes have fun an' enjoy yerself." and then hops away. NG+ feature!

Not sure about that wording, but not a bad concept. Could be you have to play a certain part of the game on easter each year to unlock it instead of NG+. Also you could add Santa Claws weapon for Xmas.

i am wishing for a orb i can *spam* the button to hit super fast. no delay on the orb each time you press the button it hits. i dont know how it could be implemented because of the movement of the orb when thrown but it's something i wish for cause i like spamming the attack button sometimes :)

another idea but this time for a fun or secret orb, the rainbow orb. each attack and/or charge attack will do a random orb attack. it's not practical i know it's just for fun :P

How about a rod from which lightning arcs off of towards the nearest enemy within a certain distance, with say a 145 degree arcing area in front of Lunais. Holding for a charge could allow the lightning to jump between enemies to hit a whole groop.
